West Bengal BJP chief Samik Bhattacharya accused the TMC of threatening and coercing Booth Level Officers (BLOs) during the SIR exercise, urging the CEC Gyanesh Kumar to visit the state immediately. He said BLOs were being pressured to submit false data and were being made scapegoats in the exercise. The remarks follow the death of four BLOs in West Bengal.
