The number of containment zones in Bengaluru rose to nine on Thursday as active cases of coronavirus have crossed the 1,500-mark in the city. Mahadevpura has the most number of containment zones at four. The number of daily coronavirus cases recorded in Bengaluru Urban has increased in the past five days by nearly 83.9% to 171 on Thursday, data said.
