Bengaluru-based game developer and publisher PlaySimple has been acquired by Swedish gaming firm Modern Times Group for ₹2,690 crore ($360 million). MTG said it will pay 77% of the acquisition sum to PlaySimple in cash and the rest in company shares. PlaySimple had raised over ₹29 crore ($4 million) at a valuation of about ₹119 crore ($16 million) in 2016.
