The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) said the construction work of the metro line joining KR Puram to Baiyappanahalli will be completed by the end of June. The project was supposed to be finished by 2020. BMRCL Managing Director Anjum Parwez cited land acquisition, acquiring permissions to cut trees and the COVID-19 pandemic as the reasons behind the delay.
