Bengaluru's Namma Metro in partnership with WhatsApp launched a chatbot-based QR ticketing service enabling users to ride the metro without using tokens or smart cards. The chatbot is integrated with Unified Payments Interface (UPI) powered payments on WhatsApp. To use the service, commuters need to send 'Hi' to BMRCL's official WhatsApp chatbot number 9181055 56677.
