The BMC has admitted violating its pedestrian-first policy in an aspirational toilet project in Mumbai's A Ward after BJP protests. In a report to the state, it proposed new pedestrian pathways near Lion Gate. Corporator Makarand Narwekar criticised the civic body, alleging negligence and disputing claims of an existing 2-metre walkway.
