The BMC has implemented night-time barricading on India's first musical road in Mumbai, which plays the 'Jai Ho' song when vehicles pass over it, after locals complained of noise pollution. The barricading aims to stop vehicular movement at night on the musical stretch of the road, thus reducing noise. Local residents had said that the noise was disrupting their sleep.
