A 42-year-old employee of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), who was assaulted for objecting to loud music by two persons in Mumbai's Dharavi, succumbed to injuries on Monday. During the incident, which took place in November, one of the accused had smashed a beer bottle on the victim's head, while the other had struck him with a stone.
