BMC identified 7 flood-prone spots on Mumbai's rail tracks

The rains of September 25, wreaked havoc in Mumbai. One of the biggest inconveniences was that the local trains stopped. The BMC identified seven flood-prone spots, including the Railway Yard at CSMT, Sion-Matunga, stormwater drains near Vidyavihar, Vikhroli-Kanjurmarg, and Bhandup on the Central Line, as well as the tracks between Kurla-Mankhurd and Sewri-Wadala on the Harbour Line.
