Following flooding during heavy rain, a BMC bridge department team inspected Vikhroli Rail Overbridge (ROB) and found plastic waste clogged the water inlets. The 615-metre Vikhroli ROB, connecting LBS Marg to Eastern Express Highway, was opened to traffic on June 14. Parts of the flyover on the west side towards LBS Marg were submerged, raising concerns aboutROB’s design and planning.
