Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde has rejected BMC's internal inquiry into the Chembur tree collapse that killed 11-year-old Vihaan Srivastav. She directed the civic administration to appoint a third-party agency to conduct a fresh probe and fix accountability. Calling the report "unacceptable", Tawde said BMC's roads and garden departments must also be held responsible for their alleged negligence.
