The Maharashtra Anti-Corruption Bureau has arrested a junior engineer and another worker of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹70,000 from two people. The officials, who are attached with the Building and Factory department of the BMC's M-East Ward, had allegedly demanded the bribe from the two men for not taking action on illegal construction.
