BMRCL to add 21 new Namma Metro trains by 2027

BMRCL plans to introduce 21 new six-coach Namma Metro trains on Bengaluru’s Green Line by the second quarter of 2027. Four trainsets have already arrived and will be progressively inducted into service. The new CRRC-Titagarh trains will support operations and allow older trains to be withdrawn for scheduled maintenance.
