The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has added a new Vayuvajra bus route called 'KIA-5D' connecting commuters from the Silk Institute metro station to Kempegowda International Airport (KIA). This route takes commuters from Silk Institute to Bengaluru airport through the Konanakunte Cross, Banashankari, Jayanagara 4th Block, Shanthinagara TTMC, RM Guttahalli and Hebbala.
