Premium carmaker BMW will lay off thousands of German employees by the end of 2027 under the voluntary redundancy programme, a company spokesperson has confirmed. Around 8,000 jobs are expected to be cut, as per multiple reports. BMW had cut its profit outlook in June due to a downturn in the key ‌Chinese market and Iran war.
