Electronics brand boAt withdrew its sponsorship of Punjabi-Canadian singer Shubh's upcoming concert after he shared a distorted map of India earlier this year. "We're first and foremost a true Indian brand," boAt said. This came after Canada alleged India's role in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Sing Nijjar. Earlier, posters of Shubh's event were removed by BJP's youth wing.
