Due to financial difficulties this year, the highly indebted Boeing aerospace company had to take drastic measures in order to adjust to its current financial situation. This week, Boeing will start notifying employees of layoffs as part of a larger plan to eliminate 17,000 jobs, or roughly 10% of its workforce worldwide.
