Boeing announced that it would open a campus at Aerospace Park in Devanahalli near Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. This facility will be the largest outside its headquarters in Virginia and will be built on 43 acres of land. The project was approved in September 2018. The aircraft manufacturer said that it has invested over $200 million in the campus.
