Boeing has agreed to pay at least $50,000 (over ₹44 lakh) to settle a lawsuit filed by the mother of John Barnett, a whistleblower who died by suicide last year. Barnett was in the middle of a deposition in a case against Boeing when he died. He had accused Boeing of mistreating him for flagging safety concerns at the company.
