BofA expects two more Fed rate hikes in 2026

Bank of America forecasts the US Federal Reserve will raise interest rates by 25 basis points each in October and December 2026, citing resilient economic growth and persistent inflation. BofA raised its Q3 2026 US growth estimate to 3.5%. Core PCE inflation is expected to stay above the Fed's 2% target through 2027.
