Bombay HC quashes ED's 2013 Goa illegal mining FIR

Bombay High Court quashed ED's 2013 Enforcement Case Information Report linked to the Goa illegal mining case, ruling that without a valid predicate offence, ED cannot exercise jurisdiction under PMLA. The court noted no investigation progress since August 2013. The ruling followed a petition by seven mining companies led by Salgaocar Mining Company.
