Ludhiana brick kiln owners assaulted 15 bonded labourers, including a pregnant woman, from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. The labourers, sold between kilns, were forced to work without wages. Despite severe injuries and a locked gate preventing hospital access, Ludhiana authorities have taken no action against the perpetrators as of today.
