A consortium led by film producer Boney Kapoor has outbid others led by actor Akshay Kumar and producer Bhushan Kumar to build the Noida Film City, spread across 230 acres alongside the Yamuna Expressway. The film city will reportedly include a film university, a cinema museum and a helipad. It is located 6 kilometres from the upcoming Noida International Airport.
