An FIR has been lodged by the cyber cell of the Bandra Kurla Complex police based on film producer Boney Kapoor's complaint that his Twitter account was hacked. Boney alleged the hacker posed as him and asked for ₹10,000 from one of his acquaintances. When Boney learnt of the hack, he changed his password and managed to retrieve his account.
