The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia has accused hotel reservation platform Booking.com of violating the anti-monopoly law, claiming it abused its dominant market position. FAS investigated the company for asking hotels to offer the same prices on their own and rival booking websites as on Booking.com. The company can be fined 1-15% of its annual revenue generated in Russia.
