BookMyShow is being criticised for its planned 'speed dating' event as Karnataka government's Horticulture Department filed a police complaint, saying the platform didn't have permission for the event at Bengaluru's Cubbon Park. The event, with entry fees starting ₹199, promised 1.5-hour sessions for participants aged 18 and above. "Who gave permission for such useless things?" a user said.
