BookMyShow's ticket booking platform crashed minutes after the pre-sale of tickets for ODI World Cup began for Mastercard holders on Tuesday. Shortly after the sale began, the website began showing, "We apologise for the inconvenience but don't worry, we're on it." After the website was restored, some users were shown waiting time of over 10 hours for ticket confirmation.
