Boxer proves unintentional intake of banned substance, doping ban lifted

A one-year doping ban on boxer Sumit Sangwan, who won silver in Asian Boxing Championship 2017, has been lifted after he was able to prove that the intake was unintentional. Sangwan claimed that he took medicine for an eye infection and didn't know the presence of any banned substance. He missed the Olympics Qualifiers trials due to the ban.
