Boy beaten up over 'love you' note to girl in Guj; school says parents sought ₹25 lakh

A nine-year-old boy was allegedly beaten up by his teacher and principal after he gave a "love you" note to his classmate in Gujarat's Ahmedabad. His parents later filed a complaint alleging severe physical abuse, but the school refuted the allegations. School official Indrajit Maurya claimed the parents tried to extort ₹25 lakh and later reduced amount to ₹5 lakh.
