Around 150 people from the Valmiki community gathered at Alwar Gate Police Station in Rajasthan's Ajmer to protest an incident where some boys from the community were allegedly beaten up. The protest became aggressive, with some individuals breaking through barricades to enter the station premises, police said. The protestors were assured that action would be taken in the initial assault.
