Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has appointed G Krishnakumar as the Chairman and Managing Director, after the proposal of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was approved. He will remain the Chairman and Managing Director till April 2025. Currently the Executive Director Lubricants, Krishnakumar has been with BPCL since 1987 and held various positions in the state-owned company.
