Brain predicts taste even before you take a bite: Study

Scientists at the Society for Neuroscience studied 99 healthy adults with an average age of 24 and found that our brain may decide what tastes good before consumption. The participants, when told they were consuming a drink with artificial sweeteners, rated sugar-containing drinks as less enjoyable, and vice-versa. It resulted in expectations shaping our brain reaction and activity.
