Brain's 'lego blocks' help it outperform AI in new tasks: Study

A study by Princeton University suggested that brain relies on "cognitive lego blocks" (neural patterns), making it flexible when facing new tasks. The study in rhesus macaques found that brain's prefrontal cortex (PFC) recombines existing skills and suppresses unneeded ones to stay focused. This gives brain advantage over AI in terms of learning and performing many different tasks.
