Brazil's Lula launches reelection bid amid foreign interference concerns
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva launched his final reelection campaign on Sunday from a stadium where he addressed 60,000 striking metalworkers in 1979. The 80-year-old leader is seeking to reconnect with workers ahead of October's election. Lula also warned that "no Chinese, no American, no French" power would access Brazil's resources without respecting the country's sovereignty.
