Brazilian plant shows promise in reducing arthritis pain

A Brazilian medicinal plant, Joseph's Coat (Alternanthera littoralis), has shown promising anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects in arthritis models. Researchers found the plant extract reduced joint swelling and oxidative stress. While results are encouraging, further studies and human trials are needed before it can be developed into a safe, approved arthritis treatment.
