Brent crude crosses $105 amid escalating US-Iran conflict
Brent crude rose to $105.28 a barrel, climbing over 30% from its early-August lows amid an escalating US-Iran conflict. OPEC cut its 2026 global oil-demand growth forecast for the fifth consecutive time, Reuters reported. Indian benchmarks nevertheless ended higher, while the rupee fell 0.3% to ₹95.44 per dollar, its third straight decline.
