Salesforce on Wednesday announced its Co-CEO Bret Taylor will step down from his position in January, leaving Co-founder Marc Benioff to be the sole CEO. Taylor, who was given the role last year, had joined Salesforce in 2016 after his startup Quip was acquired by the software firm. He played a key role in Salesforce's $27.7 billion acquisition of Slack.
