Brisk walking with over 6.4 kmph speed linked to lower risk of heart rhythm problems: Study

A research led by University of Glasgow found that brisk walking with speed of over 6.4 kmph (4 mph) is linked to lower risk of heart rhythm problems. A brisk walking pace was associated with 43% lower risk of all heart rhythm abnormalities compared with slow walking pace, the study noted. The study analysed data of 4,20,925 UK Biobank participants.
