Radical Islamist preacher Anjem Choudary has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the UK for directing and encouraging support for the banned terrorist group Al-Muhajiroun (ALM). Judge Mark Wall sentenced Choudary to a minimum of 28 years. Choudary, notorious for praising 9/11 terrorists, will not be eligible for parole until 2047. Co-defendant Khaled Hussein received a five-year sentence.
