Thursday, 21 March, 2024 British explorer Chris Brown has become the first person in history to lead an expedition to 'Point Nemo', the location in the ocean that is farthest from land. Point Nemo is so far from land that the closest humans are often the astronauts on board the International Space Station (ISS). Point Nemo is 2,688 kilometres from the nearest land—Ducie Island.
