Aastika Narula (24) and Shankar Narula (22) began saffron farming in a 616 sq ft room in July 2024 after realising the rising demand and decreasing supply of the world's costliest spice. They use aeroponics where mist provides nutrients to the plants. The duo sold the first harvest at ₹8 lakh per kg in India, Australia and Canada.
