BRS MLA representing the Secunderabad Cantonment constituency G Lasya Nanditha, 37, was killed in a road accident on the Outer Ring Road near Patancheru on the outskirts of Hyderabad early on Friday, 23 February. Her driver lost control of the SUV and it crashed into the metal barrier around 6.30 am. Nanditha was killed instantly. The driver escaped with injuries.
