Bruno Ganz, who played Hitler in 'Downfall', dies aged 77

Swiss actor Bruno Ganz, best known for his portrayal of Hitler in the 2004 Oscar-nominated film 'Downfall', has passed away at the age of 77. The actor breathed his last at his home in Zurich on Friday, his management said. Ganz featured in the 2008 film 'The Reader' as well as in 'The Manchurian Candidate', which released in 2004.
