Stock exchange BSE on Tuesday said it has added one crore registered investor accounts to its platform in 148 days, taking the total number of accounts to 12 crore. The new accounts were added between July 18 and December 13, BSE said. Of the 12 crore investors, Maharashtra has the most number of investors, followed by Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.
