After clocking a median trade speed of six microseconds, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has become the fastest in the world, Managing Director and CEO Ashishkumar Chauhan said on Tuesday. The technology platform of BSE was upgraded to BOLT PLUS which handles the volume of more than 900 brokers with over 1,00,000 branches along with thousands of retail investors.
