India's benchmark indices, BSE Sensex and Nifty 50, opened in the green on Wednesday, breaking a four-day losing streak before turning negative again. The Sensex rose nearly 52 points to 74,611 while the Nifty gained 5.55 points to 23,385 in early trade. This comes amid a hike in customs duty on imports of gold, silver, and other precious metals.
