Sub-inspector (SI) Suman Kumari has become the first female sniper of the Border Security Force (BSF). Kumari, who hails from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi and joined BSF in 2021, has completed an eight-week BSF sniper course at the Central School of Weapons and Tactics (CSWT) in Madhya Pradesh's Indore. The school released her pictures, which were widely shared online.
