Jio added 21 lakh new mobile users in March 2025, maintaining its lead with over 465 million subscribers. Airtel followed with 15.6 lakh additions, while BSNL gained 49,000 users. Vodafone Idea saw no growth. The total mobile subscriber base in India rose to 1.16 billion, driven by rural expansion and increasing adoption of 5G fixed wireless access.
