Buddha's sacred relics go on display in Arunachal Pradesh

Sacred Piprahwa relics of Lord Buddha, preserved at Delhi's National Museum, are being displayed at three Buddhist centres in Arunachal Pradesh from November 1 to 20. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat inaugurated the event at Tawang Monastery. Relics will also travel to Bomdila and Namsai, transported via IAF aircraft and helicopters.
