On being asked about her speculations of micro-announcements in the Interim Budget, HSBC Chief India Economist and MD Pranjul Bhandari said the real growth in capex last year came from state governments. "Our sense is in the next year...Central government's growth will be a little slower because it has to bring down fiscal deficit," she added.
